Read before you buy
As a consumer, you are asked to check the goods immediately upon delivery for completeness, obvious defects and damage and to inform us and the shipper about any complaints as quickly as possible. Failure to do so will not affect your statutory warranty claims in any way.
It is in your own interest, in particular, to be sure to adhere to the procedures outlined below for
– overt transport damage
– concealed transport damage.
1. Overt transport damage
In the event of overt transport damage, please unpack the consignment in the presence of the lorry driver making the delivery and have the damage noted and certified on the proof of delivery or delivery note with the date and time. Photographs of the damaged consignment and damaged goods have proven to be useful for preserving evidence. Please also note the licence plate number of the lorry. Then please inform us immediately
2. Concealed transport damage
Concealed transport damage exists if it is only recognised after acceptance of the consignment.
Check the goods immediately after receipt. You must report the damage to us immediately. Defects due to improper handling during transport that are discovered later will no longer be recognised by insurance providers, and they will not provide compensation. When making your report, describe the damage that has occurred as accurately as possible and be sure to always keep the goods, including the outer packaging and shipping packaging, for checking the transport damage. Photographs of the damaged consignment and damaged goods have proven to be useful for preserving evidence. We will then contact you promptly and arrange for further steps to be taken.
3. Other information
Please note that carriers often try to refuse to accept the damage. Therefore, please pay attention to what you sign on the damage form.
If the shipment was visibly damaged from the outside and you have accepted the shipment without any complaints, then all liability is excluded, and you will have to bear the damage alone.
If the shipment was not visibly damaged from the outside, carriers will often try to refuse to process the damage. They then justify this by saying that no transport damage can have occurred precisely because of the damage that is not identifiable from the outside. This indirectly implies that you, as a rule, have damaged the goods or that we have intentionally shipped damaged goods. In these cases, look for signs of external forceful impact on the package, such as slight dents, and have them recorded in the damage report. Photographs of the damaged consignment and damaged goods have proven to be useful for preserving evidence.

ENGINE INSTALLATION
Be sure to observe the following installation instructions for the motor
Severe damage often occurs following an engine repair. Faults that are not resolved in the periphery of the engine, whether mechanical or electrical, can lead to costly consequential faults. With the following checklist, the majority of possible sources of trouble can be eliminated during engine installation.
